DeVon Franklin and Bishop T.D. Jakes are buzzing about their new faith-based film project set for release next spring.
Miracles From Heaven, based on the life of Annabel Beam, a once sickly girl who experienced a miracle after a visit to heaven, is expected to ignite faith in viewers.
It is an adaptation of the forthcoming book by Christy Beam, the child’s mother, titled, Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and Her Amazing Story of Healing (Hatchette Books).
In an April 2 tweet, Jakes, 57, told his Twitter followers he’s “really enjoying working” with Franklin, 36, on “this incredible movie.”
The true-life story provides a dramatic look inside Annabel’s world when she battled an incurable digestive disorder and later experienced the disappearance of all symptoms of the chronic disease.
