Bryant, a free agent for the first time, continues to open up about his release from the Cowboys

Remember back in December when Dez Bryant said he wouldn't accept a pay cut to remain with the Cowboys? Yeah, about that: It turns out, Bryant reconsidered his position.

Dez Bryant will be on the field opening day for theDallas Cowboys. Expect him at training camp, too. 

Bryant agreed to a five-year, $70 million contract with $45 million guaranteed, a person familiar with the situation told USA TODAY Sports’ Jarrett Bell. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because Bryant had not yet signed the deal.

Wednesday was the deadline for players with the franchise tag to sign multi-year deal.
