President Donald Trump quickly responded to the firing of “Today” show host Matt Lauer on Wednesday, saying executives at NBC and Comcast should be “fired for putting out so much Fake News.”

Trump tweeted: “Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for ‘inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.’ But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News.”

Former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen has the HIV virus.

In an interview Tuesday on NBC’s “Today,” the 50-year-old Sheen said he tested positive for the virus that causes AIDS.

But when asked by “Today” co-host Matt Lauer if he had transmitted the disease to others, he declared, “Impossible. Impossible.”

One of Donald Trump‘s most enduring corporate partners, NBC, has released a statement putting distance between the network and some of the Republican presidential candidate’s recent statements on immigration. 

“Donald Trump’s opinions do not represent those of NBC, and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration,” reads the statement, first reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Bill Cosby could be returning to the NBC network with a new comedy as soon as next summer.

The series, described as a “classic, extended-family sitcom” with Cosby as the patriarch, is currently in the writing stage, NBC executives said at Sunday’s session of the summer TV critics’ tour. It was first announced in January.
