President Trump said Wednesday that the Obama administration should be under investigation for Russian meddling instead of him and his campaign.

“Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigatio

President Barack Obama on Friday harshly accused the Syrian regime, along with Moscow and Tehran, of slaughtering civilians in Aleppo.

“We have seen a deliberate strategy of surrounding, besieging and starving innocent civilians,” Obama said during a year-end news conference.

“Responsibility for this brutality lies in one place alone: the Assad regime and its allies Russia and Iran,” Obama said. “The blood for these atrocities are on their hands.”
He added, “The Assad regime cannot slaughter

I was sitting at a Starbucks trying to mind my own business and right next to me two individuals were discussing the aftermath of the November 8th presidential elections. At one point, they began discussing the protests that have spontaneously spread across the United States in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s so-called victory.

I listened carefully when I heard them both express their opposition to the protests and their agreement that Trump must

Religious leaders in California are calling for a police investigation after identical letters were sent to local mosques hailing President-elect Donald Trump and calling for death to Muslims.

The San Francisco Bay Area chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) released a statement asking for increased protection after the hate-filled letters were discovered at the Islamic centers of Long Beach and Claremont as well as a mosque in San Jose.

The 2012 Obama campaign’s director of religious outreach says Democrats are throwing votes away.

The white evangelical vote has been a focus of post-election coverage, and for good reason. If you had told the average person that white evangelicals would account for more than a fourth of the entire electorate, they may not have believed you: After all, ev

Sen. Bernie Sanders on Sunday criticized Republican objections to the Wisconsin recount effort, arguing that the move is within legal rights and fairly common after elections.

"We have recounts, probably almost every election there's a recount," Sanders, I-Vt., said on CNN. "No one expects there to be profound change but there's nothing wrong with going through the process."

Wisconsin election officials accepted Green Party candidate Jill Stein's petition for a statew

I’ve been taking some deep breaths.

I was shocked but not surprised by the outcome of the 2016 election. I knew that Donald Trump could become president even though I honestly did not believe that he would. And to paraphrase Shakespeare’s Marc Antony, friends, Christians, and fellow Americans: lend me your ears: I’ve not come to bury Hillary Clinton or to praise her. I’m not about to argue policies or the relative trustworthiness of the two main candidates. That’s been done ad nauseam.

To the evangelicals who voted for Donald Trump:

I believe you. I believe in you.

I believe you love others. I believe you are doing your best. I believe you want good for America.

As a fellow evangelical, a local church pastor, and a seminary professor, I believe you want to be true to the gospel — to the “good news.”

In supporting Trump, I believe you did what you thought to be right by trying to vote for the lesser e

In a YouTube video released Monday night, President-elect Donald Trump made a series of bold assertions about his priorities once he gets into office, but in a series of interviews, experts said many of his plans are easier said than done.

While he can make use of executive orders to nullify some of the orders of his predecessor, in some cases, the experts said his goals can't be accomplished as simply as he seems to think. In others, they suggested he didn’t know enough about the policy area

As a small West Virginia community tries to move past the backlash of a racist Facebook post that targeted first lady Michelle Obama, a council member had some inviting words for outsiders who look down on her town.

What a difference four years makes.

A newly elected Donald Trump has changed his tune on the Electoral College, calling it "genius" after his win in the presidential election -- a far cry from when he blasted it four years ago.

Trump, despite trailing by nearly 1 million ballots in the popular vote, with 94 percent of the count in, won an Electoral College vic

For supporters of Hillary Clinton, the 2016 election had its fair share of ups… before it ended with the ultimate letdown.

Now that it’s over, some of her voters are feeling burnt out, grief-stricken, and even depressed over Donald Trump’s surprising win.

In an emotional concession speech, Clinton addressed her visibly-upset supporters.

“This loss hurts, but please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it,” she said.

Many people have been expressing their grief and ar

Chuck Todd: 'There is a Bug' in Our Electoral College System1:32

There are still more votes to be counted, but it looks almost certain that despite losing the presidency, Hillary Clinton will win the popular vote.

And likely by a million or more votes — a much larger margin than Al Gore enjoyed in 2000, when he too was denied by the Electoral College even though he nominally had more votes.

Put more starkly: It appears Americans chose Clinton, but got Trump.

Thousands Protest Trump's Victory Around US 2:06

Thousands of protesters swarmed the streets of several major cities Wednesday to voice their opposition to Donald Trump, who less than 24 hours earlier stunned the world to become the 45th person elected president of the United States.

Protesters in Chicago chanted "Not my president" and "F--- Trump" outside Trump International Hotel & Tower in what seemed like a grand uprising — one in which minority groups that have felt targeted by Trump ov
