Former NFL coach Tony Dungy would be fine with signing ex-Baltimore Ravens and Rutgers running back Ray Rice, even with all the baggage and media attention he’d bring with him.

Here’s what Dungy said on Sunday’s “Football Night in America”:

Former Colts coach Tony Dungy said he wouldn’t have drafted former Missouri defensive end Michael Sam.

“I wouldn’t have taken him. Not because I don’t believe Michael Sam should have a chance to play, but I wouldn’t want to deal with all of it,” Dungy told the Tampa Tribune.

“It’s not going to be totally smooth … things will happen.”
